I have often wondered when something like this might occur. In reality, it is a logical outcome of the that fanciful and un-scientific hypothesis known as evolution. At least these people have enough intellectual honesty to see the full implication of Darwin’s theories. Why not go further by extending personhood to more animals in order to encourage and foster their continued ascent? Sadly, the race is on as many run headlong into greater error.
